What is a test point?
A simple way to size the work. A static page is 1 point, a form or dynamic page is 2, a login flow is 4 and a payment flow is 6. Many pages from one layout, like blog posts or product pages, count as one dynamic page.
What counts as a release?
Each time you put an update live. A quick fix for an issue we reported is part of the same release, so its retest is free.
What if I go over my release limit?
We test the extra release at $95 + $3 per point, and let you know first. If it happens each month, your QA lead will suggest the plan that costs less for you.
What is a small fix, and what is a bug fix?
Small fixes are quick changes our QA team makes: layout issues on mobile, broken links, text and image fixes, simple form or style problems. Bug fixes need deep code work, like slow pages, crashes or broken flows. Those go to our senior developer, on demand, after you approve the estimate.
Who do I talk to?
Your QA lead, from start to finish. They pass bugs to the developer and keep you updated, so you have one clear point of contact.
Can I start with an inspection and move to monthly?
Yes. Many clients start with a Pre-Launch Inspection, then move to Monthly Monitoring once they release often. You can change or stop a monthly plan at the end of any month.
